The first hot and sunny race-weekend comes to an end. It has been spectacular over all of the three days. But watch for yourself what nearly 200 riders from 22 nations had to go through.
The first race of the iXS European Downhill Cup has found his first winners. In the men elite category Denis Kohút shines with the sun to compete. Abigail Hogie took home the win in the women elite category with her clean run down the hill. Let's start from beginning.
The iXS European Downhill Cup has now officially opened the season and so it was off to Losinj in Croatia for almost 200 participants from 22 nations. The Mediterranean island has been the opening race of the European series for the past three years and therefore always provides the first indicator of who to expect for the rest of the season.
The new season has arrived and so the first Maxxis Course Preview of the season awaits you as well. Today Abby Hogie & Diego Segattini opened up the the track in Losinj. They show what it takes to ride down the tricky course by the Mediterranean Sea.
Registration for the next highlight of the iXS EDC opens today. As a former World Cup and World Championship venue, the Lenzerheide course is the icing on the cake in this year's EDC calendar. Following in the footsteps of big names in downhill racing, the riders will get a taste of the big stage here. The Swiss Championships are also held here.
