Oberhof is once again inviting young riders to its traditional downhill race. From 12 to 14 June, the Rookies Cup will be stopping off in the Thuringian Forest. Registration is already open, so be sure to sign up for the event, as places are in high demand.

Oberhof is back

Oberhof, a fixture on the Rookies Cup racing calendar, has helped launch the careers of many talented drivers. In 2026, the circuit in this well-known winter sports resort will once again offer ideal conditions for thrilling races. The Thuringian Forest provides not only a beautiful backdrop but also a flowing yet challenging track.

Short but snappy

The 1.1-kilometre course, with its 120-metre descent, is anything but a walk in the park. Tight bends, small jumps, root-covered sections and technical sections challenge the young riders, offering them the perfect stage to prove themselves and perhaps take the next step towards the elite ranks.

Registration for the second round of the  Rookies Cup is now open. All up-and-coming riders who want to compete with the best in their age group should get in now. Oberhof promises exciting duels, a family atmosphere and valuable racing experience - so: Go for it!
