    RDC #6 Koprivna

For the first time in it's history, the PROPAIN Rookies Cup visits the Czech Republic. The contendors for the overall will head up against the best Rookies from Central Europe, and as you can imagine, they are used to the demanding tracks of the Jeseníky Mountains.

The Race

Although it's part of the series for the first time, the race in Koprivna promises to be a special highlight. Not only it's the Season Final, further there will be a Welcoming Party and many side events in addition to the race. This not only means a good portion of downhill action, but also a couple shows and pop up events next to the race track.

Bike Park Koprivna will be opening for its 12th season in 2025. The Bike Park currently consists of 9 different routes and has a suitable trail for every skill level. A modern 6-seater chairlift is available to all visitors for the 200 metre ascent. In the Czech scene, the Bike Park is best known for its enduro events and its well-shaped jumpline. Just in time for the Rookies Cup, the downhill course is now being refreshed and given a new layout for the season finale.

The Track

A 1300 metre long descent awaits the riders, making optimum use of the available 200 metres in altitude. The existing downhill line will be adapted and modified with several sections of other descents from the Bike Park. The result will be a perfect course with everything a downhill bike should have under its tyres: Berms, jumps, root passages and, of course, some rock gardens.

The Area

The Jeseníky Mountains region is located in the east of the country and is a well-known hiking and recreational area in the Czech Republic. Due to the region's continental climate, winters are long and cold and summers are quite hot. Fortunately, the many small ski areas in the region all switch to bike park operation in summer. Within sight of the event location is the most famous mountain in the Czech Republic, Praded, with its striking summit tower, including a small hotel and restaurant. And if you're looking for some relaxation after an action-packed day in the bike park, you can find it in the famous spa town of Karlova Studanka.

The Journey

For all visitors travelling to the east of the Czech Republic for the first time, the Koprivna Bike Park is not located in Koprivna itself, but is part of the village of Mala Moravka. For those with enough time, we recommend a road trip along the northern border of the country, where one bike park after another is strung together like a string of pearls.
