    iXS EDC #3 Semmering

The iXS European Downhill Cup returns to Semmering from 13 to 15 June 2025. The traditional course on the Hirschenkogel awaits the European downhill elite with 2.4 kilometres full of action and 340 metres in depth. The race in Semmering promises pure excitement once again.

Back on the magic mountain

After a one-year break, Semmering is once again part of the iXS European Downhill Cup. The natural course on the Hirschenkogel not only offers technical challenges, but also impressive views of the surrounding countryside. Here is the Maxxis Course Preview from 2023.

International elite at the start

Over 300 top athletes from all over Europe are expected to compete on the course. The combination of technical passages and fast sections promises exciting duels and impressive riding manoeuvres.

Slowly but surely...

The iXS European Downhill Cup will once again kick off this year in Santiago de Besteiros, Portugal. The first stop will take place from April 10 to 12, counting as a qualifying race for the World Cup and offering additional training days and a second C1 race one week later.

Postponement of Ilmenau

Even though the 2026 calendar was published a few weeks ago and should be finalised, there has now been a change to the date of the penultimate race in Ilmenau. The iXS Downhill Cup and therefore also the VPACE Kids Cup race have been postponed by one week.
