The end of the season is fast approaching: registration for iXS European Downhill Cup #6 in Verbier is now open. With a spectacular Alpine backdrop and the legendary Tires Fire course, this is set to be another highlight of the racing calendar. This race is definitely not to be missed!

The jewel of the Alps

From 11 to 13 September 2026, the EDC will once again be held in Verbier, Switzerland. The impressive mountain backdrop, the modern facilities and the unique atmosphere make the bike park a special venue every year. Following its successful return in recent years, Verbier will once again be part of the iXS European Downhill Cup in 2026. 

The legendary ‘Tires Fire’

With a length of 2.8 kilometres and a climb of 430 metres, the “Tires Fire” is one of the most challenging tracks in the series. High-speed sections alternate with technical rocky sections, jumps and numerous line choices – a track that demands riding skill right up to the finish line. The track will also be freshly revamped and perfectly prepared in the run-up to the race weekend.
