Spicak is a well-known region in the Czech Republic that has made a name for itself in the downhill scene. Located in the Bohemian Forest, Spicak offers ideal conditions for cycling. The Spicak Bike Park is a central attraction here, with its various trails and routes appealing to all levels.
Some sections of the course on site were reshaped in August 2023. Many stone fields have been relaid and some jumps and root sections have been refined and reworked. The local bike park team has done a great job here, here are some pictures of the newly reworked course.
The beautiful surroundings of the Bohemian Forest provide a breathtaking scenery that makes the downhill race here an unforgettable experience. The route runs through the forest and stretches over 1750 m and 320 m downhill to the finish. There are several stone fields, drops and difficult sections to master. When you reach the finish line, you know what you have achieved on the course.

The VPACE Kids Cup race was one of the highlights of the festival. Young talents from various age groups showed off their skills on the track. Despite the unpredictable weather, the young riders mastered the course with impressive skill and courage.
The international elite of the FMB Pros had been in Winterberg for a few days and so expectations were huge. After qualifying in the morning, it was time for the big show in front of thousands of spectators and quite honestly, it couldn't have been more of a highlight.
Today was the second day of the festival and it had everything. There was racing and of course tricks, sun and clouds and even downpours, joy and tears. The festival photographers have once again filled countless rolls of film and developed them in the darkroom so that we can review the day in this way...
