A real anniversary is just around the corner: the iXS Downhill Cup is returning to Ilmenau in 2026 – this year to mark the 30th anniversary of the ‘Absolute Downhill’. Registration for DHC #5 is now open – and with it, for one of the most traditional and atmospheric races on the entire calendar.
30 Years of Downhill History
From 28 to 30 August 2026, Ilmenau will not only be the scene of a battle for seconds, but will also be celebrating a special anniversary. For three decades, the ‘Absolute Abfahrt’ has been synonymous with a genuine downhill experience, passionate organisation and an atmosphere that thrills riders and fans alike every year.
